I’m interested in how we flexibly use our memory to process events and guide our decision making. I received my B.S. in Cognitive Science from UC Davis and my M.S. in Cognitive Neuroscience of Language from the Basque Centre on Cognition, Brain, and Language, Spain, where I worked on extending the feature and phoneme inventories of the TRACE model with Jim Magnuson. I then studied how the brain represents object knowledge with Jorge Almeida at the University of Coimbra. Before coming to Berkeley, I was a research assistant at NYU, where I explored how valence biases in reinforcement learning shape memory across development with Cate Hartley, and how schemas affect our episodic memory with Sebastian Michelmann. Besides science, I enjoy playing guitar, hiking, and chatting with my vocal cat about how bored he was while I was at work.

Fun fact: I collect bracelets from people and places meaningful to me, and they stay on my wrist until they fall off on their own! The oldest one has lasted around 9 years:)​​
