I am a fourth-year Psychology student interested in how competing memories shape our perception of the present and how the brain determines which memories guide our attention and behavior. I am really interested in the neural mechanisms involved in memory selection and how understanding these processes could help people with PTSD and other trauma-related conditions strengthen safer, more adaptive memories. Ultimately, I hope to become a mental health therapist or pursue a PhD in clinical psychology or neuroscience, where I can continue exploring how research can help people heal and improve their daily lives.

Fun fact: I am learning how to swim this semester as the first step toward achieving my goal of learning to surf! I also enjoy hiking and rock climbing with my family and spending time with my cats!
