In my previous work with Dr. Michael Rugg (as a master’s student) and Dr. Anthony Wagner (as a lab manager), I have explored the factors contributing to individual differences in episodic memory. I have examined the relationship between structural and functional activity measures, as it relates to age and episodic memory performance. Joining the Aly lab as a graduate student, in addition to exploring the individual variability in episodic memory further, I am interested in the impact of attention on memory process, and how attentional states modulate the activity of memory network structures.

Fun fact: I’m originally from India, but I grew up in Dubai, U.A.E. I’ve also lived in Dallas, San Francisco Bay area, and am now moving to New York!
