Graduate Student

Jonah is a second-year student at the University of California, Berkeley, studying psychology, neuroscience, and health and wellness. He has a deep passion for researching cognitive resilience in children, the impact of stressful experiences on brain plasticity, and how challenging experiences reshape children's reactions later in life when facing similar situations. His extensive experience in behavioral research and the medical field has piqued his curiosity about how the challenges children face affect their mindset, cognitive capabilities, and memory.
Pronouns: he/him
Fun fact: I have a twin sister named Sally, who is also a research assistant in the lab. We are both professional taekwondo athletes at the international level. We train independently, without a coach or team, in our own training dojo in our garage, which we've called "The Next Level" since 2016. We have competed internationally in over 12 countries, including the World and European Championships, where I placed fifth in the world. I also enjoy trying different kinds of food, volunteering, running, playing golf, and meditating in nature.
