Graduate Student

Cheyenne is interested in the relationship between the everyday items we encounter and our fluctuating attention, and how this relationship shapes our subsequent memory for these items. Prior to joining the Aly Lab, Cheyenne earned a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from the University of Chicago, where they worked with Dr. Monica Rosenberg, Dr. Wilma Bainbridge, and Dr. David Gallo to build predictive models of visual long-term memory and to explore the effects of transcranial stimulation on episodic memory retrieval.

Pronouns: they/them

Fun fact: Before discovering my love for neuroscience, I played international soccer as a member of the youth Jamaican National Women's Football Team aka The Reggae Girlz.
